Alas, this blog was created for a very practical purpose -- to highlight my skills as a researcher and communicator.
You see, I am a writer and editor with experience in journalism, resume development, public relations, and editing (including fiction and non-fiction manuscripts, academic writing, web content, and more).
This blog is dedicated to homemaking topics such as home improvement, decorating, organization, cooking, baking, personal finance, positive living, relationships and more. (Obviously, I've kept it very broad in order to indulge myself more fully.)
Blog posts will generally be organized categorically into the following sections (and labeled and titled accordingly):
- Fab Finds: household products I love
- Recipes: yummy edible creations of all sorts
- Discussions: book and article reviews
- Projects: home improvement and craft project how-tos
- Inspirations: poems, quotes and lyrics to inspire
- Ideas: quick tips for organizing, decorating, saving money and more
I'll try to include pictures as often as possible. : )
